Skylar Laine was evicted from American Idol Season 11 after getting in the bottom three with Hollie Cavanagh.
The decision surprised a lot of people since Cavanagh will be very suitable on a different reality show in TV, which is the Survivor as she survived again this week. In addition, Cavanagh received the second most lowest of votes on the reality singing competition show, which is her fifth times in the past six weeks to be one of the lowest vote getters.
However, Cavanagh never gave up hit the bottom three and this gave her a chance to be one of the final four contenders in American Idol this season. Instead, it was Laine who was eliminated in the reality show. She has been nothing but entertaining all the way; nevertheless she also lost some of her mojo in previous weeks.
Moreover, she was always a better entertainer than a singer. The reality show will be more boring now that she was evicted, but it is not like sending off at the stage is a life threatening for all country singers. In a previous month, not a lot of people will have anticipated Laine to leave before Cavanagh, when the latter afraid to death and over thought each note like she was singing in a karaoke. Nonetheless, since then, Cavanagh discovered her pace and is getting better each week. Even if she is still many things to improve of, she is the only contender who looks competent of astonishing each week.
While everybody else is in their safe place, Cavanagh is having to battle to remain to be in it every week and has answered with a sequence of robust performances. In addition, she was also been the least unsurprising of the remaining contenders, and is utilizing that to her benefits by approaching through in the hold.
On the other hand, the outcomes were best news for Phillip Phillips, who according to Jimmy Iovine was coasting, but kept on to cruise toward to his foreseeable place in the finale. Phillips also seems to be getting an excuse note that is associated with his health for missing the filming of the music videos of the Ford, which at least keeps him the awkwardness to see his own in the commercials last Thursday night.
The elimination of Laine was also huge for Jessica Sanchez, who sang Proud Mary which was cited a pretense by Jimmy, yet gained her the most votes among the female contenders that were still in the show.
